Dr. Herbert Buzanich, LL.M. (NYU)
Mr. Buzanich is an attorney at law specialising in tax law. His practice focuses on international taxation, tax aspects of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, capital market and financial products as well as structured finance, litigation in tax matters and private clients.
Before founding Aigner Buzanich Attorneys at law, Mr. Buzanich led the tax group of Schönherr (from 2009 through 2012) and was a member of the International Tax Group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (from 2000 through 2003 and from 2004 through 2009).
Mr. Buzanich completed his legal education in Vienna and New York. He received a Master of Laws degree (Mag. iur.) and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree (Dr. iur.) from the University of Vienna. Mr. Buzanich is also a graduate of the International Tax Program of the New York University School of Law (LL.M.).
Mr. Buzanich is admitted to the Austrian Bar and the New York State Bar. He regularly speaks at international tax conferences and publishes on domestic and international tax issues.
